Any festivity would be incomplete without food. “I would request my mum cook the foods that I enjoy,” Nikle Currant says when asked about his favourite Baisakhi special dishes. Our lunch would be rajma or kaale chane, both of which I enjoy. We’d also have kada for dessert in the evenings.”
