
The suspected use of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor’s credit card resulted in fraudulent transactions of roughly Rs 4 lakh.

On February 9, Rs 3.82 lakh was fraudulently moved from Kapoor’s account in five transactions, according to the complaint.
On Wednesday, a case was filed under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act at the Amboli police station in Mumbai.
When Kapoor discovered that money had been taken from his bank account, he contacted the bank to inquire about it. He also filed a written complaint with the police as a result of this.

He was informed the police that no one had asked for his credit card information. Neither he had received any phone calls about it. Officials thought that the data had been collected while Kapoor was using the card.
It has been discovered that money from Kapoor’s card was transferred to a Gurugram-based company’s account.
The investigation is currently in progress.
