Ambika Rao, a Malayalam actor and assistant director best known for her part in “Kumbalangi Nights,” died of a heart attack on Monday night, June 27. She became 58. According to reports, Ambika died at 10:30 p.m. in a private hospital in Ernakulam. She was said to be getting treatment after getting COVID-19.
Ambika Rao got her start in the movie business as an assistant director on Balachandra Menon’s “Krishna Gopalakrishna,” which came out in 2002.
She has been in the entertainment business for almost 20 years. She has worked as an assistant director on movies like “Rajamanikyam,” “Thommanum Makkalum,” and “Vellinakshathram,” which starred Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She has also been in a lot of movies, including the hit “Meesha Madhavan” with Dileep, “Salt and Pepper,” and the new “Anuraga Karikkin Vellam,” “Thamasha,” and “Vellam.”
When Ambika Rao was in “Kumbalangi Nights,” which was directed by Madhu C. Narayanan, she got a lot of attention. In the 2019 movie “Kumbalangi Nights,” Anna Ben and Grace Antony played Baby and Simmy’s mother, and Ambika Rao was their mother.

Prithviraj Sukumaran wrote on his social media accounts. Additionally, Kunchacko Boban wrote a tribute to the late actor. “Rest in everlasting peace Chechi!! 🙏🏼……Ambika Rao…..🙏🏼,” written by Kunchacko Boban.
Many people, like Tovino Thomas, Anna Ben, and others, expressed their condolences to the actor’s family on their individual social media accounts.
