Alia made the announcement on her Instagram account, where she posted a photo of herself with her main guy, Ranbir Kapoor.

The post was captioned, “Our baby… coming soon” along with a heart emoticon.

As the power couple has been showered with affection from friends and fans, Alia has now sent a beautiful statement to thank everyone for their good wishes.

Alia shared a photo from her wedding with the Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani star that had never been seen before on her Instagram story.

The Raazi actress looked lovely in an orange traditional dress, while Ranbir looked charming in a cream-coloured kurta pyjama.

Previously, Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, expressed his joy at becoming a grandfather, calling it the most significant role of his life. Soni Razdan further stated that words could not express how happy they are.

In the meantime, Alia and Ranbir will be seen sharing the screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated fantasy drama Brahmastra. Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, is set to be released on September 9 of this year.

Ranbir is also preparing for the July 22, 2022 release of Shamshera. Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor will also appear in the film.
