Sonali said that she missed out on jobs in the 1990s because movie directors were being pressured by the mafia. Which is why they were helpless to stop it, in an interview with a chat show. The actress also said that banks would not lend to you since there was a lot of uncontrolled finance.
Sonali continued by saying that she made an effort to stay away from “dodgy” film makers. The actress also shared that her then-boyfriend and future husband Goldie Behl assisted her in identifying which financier they should go for her films.
