Ranveer Singh and YRF announced their amicable split on Friday, shocking the industry. The actor will also work with the banner as an actor if the opportunity arises. Ranveer Singh is in talks to join The Collective, a non-exclusive talent management agency, exclusively.

Ranveer Singh is negotiating with several agencies and agents. A source said, “Ranveer Singh is exploring various options, and at the moment is in talks with multiple agencies and agents. He is keen to sign on with The Collective, but the structure is still undecided,” The agency also manages his wife Deepika Padukone’s account. The source asserted, “However, a different set of teams will work of both talents,”
Ranveer will likely sign a nonexclusive contract with the agency. “It basically means, The Collective will be on account of Ranveer, however, if any other agency gets him brands and scripts, he is open to taking their offer up too and giving them the commission that works warrants. Over the years, Ranveer has built this aura for himself where he can be in the position to set his own rules. He might have a personal manager and then, another set of agencies also getting him the work, with The Collective bestowed with the primary responsibility,”  the source added.

This model will be similar to that of Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan, who are working independently and no longer with Reshma Shetty’s Matrix.  “The model is clear, you get interesting work and brands, and get your commission. The best one gets the money. It’s all about flying solo and independently, without being bound by their terms and condition,”

Ranveer will star in Cirkus and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. If Basil Joseph’s Shaktimaan script meets studio and talent expectations, he is the front-runner.
