Shah Rukh Khan’s Flim ‘Jawan’ faces legal issues

•  Tamil producer, complained to the (TFPC) that Jawan’s makers plagiarised.
• He claimed Jawan copied Vijayakanth’s 2006 film Perarasu.
• SRK may play two roles in Atlee.

Manickam Narayanan, a Tamil producer, complained to the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) that Jawan’s makers plagiarised. He claimed Jawan copied Vijayakanth’s 2006 film Perarasu. According to the Times Of India, Manickam Narayanan owns the story rights and TFPC board members will investigate the complaint after November 7, 2022.

Vijayakanth plays twins Perarasu and Ilavarasu in Perarasu. SRK may play two roles in Atlee. Jawan’s producers haven’t confirmed it. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu, and Priyamani star in the Tamil film. Jawan is Atlee’s Bollywood directorial debut. The film will premiere in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on June 2, 2023.

Shah Rukh revealed the first Jawan posters in June, calling it a special project. A 1.5-minute video accompanied the announcement. “Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, and geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come”. Shah Rukh said. Atlee created this unique film, which I loved because I love action movies! The teaser is just the beginning.

Shah Rukh Khan has two exciting projects besides Jawan. Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, will reunite him with Deepika Padukone. John Abraham will play the main villain in the January 25 release. Taapsee Pannu stars in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
