Samantha Ruth is leaving Varun Dhawan and Raj DK’s Citadel

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in the spotlight after reportedly dropping her Bollywood projects, including Citadel opposite Varun Dhawan. Several sources said she’s dropping out due to health difficulties. Our sources disagreed. Samantha is part of Raj and DK’s Citadel.

Myositis prevents Samantha from taking rests. The actress is not planning to take a long hiatus from performing till she recovers. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is reportedly in Citadel.A source said, “Samantha is part of Citadel. She has also given her dates in January. But depending on her availability and health, the official shooting dates will be confirmed. The rumours are baseless. The shoot is expected to begin soon.”

The Original spy series is written by Sita R. Menon, Raj, and DK. The Russo Brothers, who produced the original show, announced Varun Dhawan’s involvement in the yet-to-be-titled Indian Citadel. Regular filming will commence in January 2023. The Russo Brothers announced “We are thrilled to officially announce that we will be bringing you the Indian installment of the Citadel universe. The local Original spy series will start filming in January 2023.”

Varun and Samantha will reportedly train in martial arts for Citadel’s action sequences. They’ll play spies, reportedly.  “Citadel India is set in the 1990s. In fact, the makers play around in two timelines – the start and the end of the 90s.”

Samantha is awaiting Gunasekhar’s mythical flick Shaakuntalam. She’ll play princess Shakuntala opposite Dev Mohan, Allu Arha, and Mohan Babu. In Kushi, she’ll co-star opposite Liger’s Vijay Deverakonda.
