Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul rang in the new year together in Dubai as they partied with friends on New Year’s Eve. Athiya and Rahul may be seen kissing during the celebration in pictures that her friends have posted. Early in 2023, the pair is anticipated to get married. For the upcoming matches against Sri Lanka, the player allegedly asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a leave of absence in December.

She also posted a red-tinted photo of herself in the restaurant with Rahul and another buddy on her Instagram Stories. Rahul and Athiya have been dating for a while now. Although they have been seen together on holidays and in social media hand photographs, they have not publicly admitted to dating. Ahan Shetty, Athiya’s brother, who made his acting debut with Tadap last year, and other members of her family have been spotted socialising with the batsman in recent months.

Actor Suniel Shetty, the father of Athiya and Ahan, already addressed the wedding rumours. He said, “I know about all the rumours that are around their wedding now and then. And I can tell you that I am looking at it as in the date. With both their schedules and stuff like that, we are figuring out things. Her most recent project was the 2019 love drama Motichoor Chaknachor, in which she starred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In her biography Hope Solo, the actress was rumoured to portray Kashmiri footballer Afshan Ashiq.
