After being named in the chargesheet submitted by the Enforcement Directorate in the Rs. 200 crore extortion and money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been in the news for her personal life. The actress recently made some surprising declarations in front of Delhi’s Patiala House Court. On January 16, the actress filed a new appeal asking for authorization to travel overseas, and the court requested a response from the Enforcement Directorate. On November 15, 2022, the unversed was given standard bail in the money laundering case.

Jacqueline claimed in a statement obtained by India Today that con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar “played with my emotions and made my life hell” in a hearing at Delhi’s Patiala House court. ‘Sukesh misled me, ruined my career and my livelihood.’ she continued.

According to Jacqueline, she thought someone was impersonating her when Pinky Irani introduced Sukesh to her as a government official. When asked about how they first met, the actress recalled that Pinky persuaded Shaan Muthathil, her makeup artist, that Sukesh was a significant member of the Home Ministry.

As quoted by Jacqueline: “He introduced himself as the owner of Sun TV and claimed J Jayalalitha was his aunt. Chandrashekhar said he was a big fan, and said I should do films in South India too, and as the owner of Sun TV, they had many projects lined up. We should try to work together in south Indian movies.”

On the professional front, Jacqueline has appeared in a number of well-known movies, including Kick, Judwaa 2, Race 2, and Housefull 2. The actress most recently appeared in the “Cirkus” film directed by Rohit Shetty, which also starred Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde.
