On the first day of the new year, Kangana Ranaut posted a picture of herself worshipping in a temple. On Sunday, the star posted a snapshot on Instagram Stories in which she posed inside a temple while gazing into the camera after asking for blessings. Happy new year, Kangana said with her selfie. She also put a new year’s sticker and a red heart emoji.

In the image, Kangaga was dressed in a crimson ethnic attire. The actor wore a necklace and a set of earrings that were both substantial pieces of jewellery. For the visit to the temple, she also wore a little black bindi. Kangana posed for the photo inside the temple while a few monks were present there with their hands folded. Her hands, which were joined together with leaves, were in her possession. In the picture, Kangana was accompanied by a thali (plate) that had coconut, flowers, and prasad, which is an offering of dessert and other food.


There are several upcoming projects for Kangana. Her appearance will be in Emergency. The film, which is based on the political unrest in India during the emergency between 1975 and 1977, just finished its Assam schedule. Kangana will play the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the historical drama she is also directing.

Raghava Lawrence, a Tamil actor and filmmaker, will play the male lead alongside Kangana.

In addition, she is set to star in a biography directed by Pradeep Sarkar about the late Noti Binodini, an icon in Bengali theatre. In an interview with the press in October 2022, Kangana has stated the following regarding the movie: “I am a very big fan of Pradeep Sarkar ji and very happy for this opportunity. Also this will be my first collaboration with Prakash Kapadia ji and I am completely thrilled to be part of this remarkable journey with some of the greatest artist of this country.”
