Kartik Aaryan, an actor, will play the lead role in his upcoming comedy Shehzada. The movie’s teaser, which featured a moment in which Kartik slapped veteran actor Paresh Rawal, was published on Thursday. Kartik admitted he was worried about the slapping sequence while discussing it at the trailer releasing event. But Paresh was the one who advised him to take the risk.

Before filming a slap sequence for their upcoming movie, Shehzada, Paresh Rawal warned Kartik Aaryan something, which he has now disclosed. The motion picture will debut on February 10.

Rohit Dhawan is the film’s director. The 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which starred Allu Arjun in the lead role, is being officially remade in Hindi. On February 10, 2023, Shehzada is expected to be seen in theatres. Along with Kartik and Paresh Rawal, it also features Sachin Khedekar, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Kriti Sanon.

Kartik was reported by ETimes as saying, “Talking about the slapping scenario during the ceremony, “Even I was apprehensive. It’s thanks to Paresh ji that the scene got alleviated. I was confused about how to perform. We don’t slap actually and it’s shot in a particular manner that makes you believe that I have slapped him. Lekin galti se kabhi bhi lag sakta hai. But there needs to be that trust between co-stars. Aur yeh ek timing ka khel hai. And he’s the king of such comic timing.”

Kartik continued by relating what Paresh Rawal had said to him prior to filming the scenario. He said that the veteran actor had responded,  “Tu tension mat lena. Kheench ke maarna. Film ke mood mein jaana (You don’t worry, but hit me hard and be in the zone of the film).”  (Don’t be alarmed, but strike me hard and get me in the movie mood). In the movie, Paresh Rawal plays the part of Kartik’s on-screen father.

Kartik begins the Shehzada teaser by urging viewers to act rather than merely have conversations about family. He kills criminals in a variety of places, including next to a factory, a port, and a basketball court. Kartik’s other, less macho side emerges after, in contrast to his personality, when he only engages in food consumption. When his “baba (father)” (father), Paresh Rawal, asks him in a scene if he wants to be a lawyer or a bouncer, Kartik responds, “Dono (both).” Kartik wants nothing more than to live the life of a “Shehzada (royal)” once he learns that his real father is the wealthy and powerful Randeep.
