Rakhi Sawant, a reality TV star in Bollywood, has had a turbulent 2023. She first gained popularity online when she announced her engagement to Adil Khan Durrani. More recently, she broke down in tears in front of the media and revealed something surprising.

Following a complaint from the actress, the Mumbai police have now called Rakhi Sawant‘s husband, Adil, to the station for questioning and to give a statement.

Adil was detained this morning, according to India Today, and the police are now following protocol. The police further stated that Rakhi filed a FIR in the Oshiwara region.

Although the reason for the arrest is yet unknown, Sawant has accused her husband of numerous offenses. She said that since he failed to provide for her mother’s medical requirements, she died.

She also asserts that he abandoned her and moved in with Tanu, his rumored partner.

Additionally, Sawant claims that her spouse physically abused her and took advantage of their relationship to advance his own dreams to work in Bollywood. She also charges him with stealing all of her savings and having a criminal past.

Sawant even underwent a name change to Fatima and converted to Islam in order to wed Durrani. She also released images from her private Nikkah ceremony. Her husband, however, denied they were married at first until subsequently confirming it.
