Filmmaker Vikramaditya shares a sweet note for Ananya Panday

After wrapping off filming for his upcoming production with actor Ananya Panday, director Vikaramaditya Motwane shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. Ananya and the Lootera director can be seen in the photo hugging while facing the camera. A number of users didn’t seem to like the director’s claim that he was a “fan” of the Liger actor and criticised him in the comments.

When they finished filming for his upcoming, as of yet untitled project, Vikramaditya posted a photo of himself and Ananya to Instagram. The movie, which is presently in post-production, is said to be a thriller, according to multiple publications. The director uploaded a photo of him cuddling Ananya and captioned it, “Barely knew you 3 months ago. Today I’m proud to call myself a fan and you a friend (heart emoticon).”

“And that’s a wrap! @motwayne I can never thank you enough but I hope I made you and continue to make you happy and proud (heart emoticon) and to every single member of this team who has given everything they have to this magical film – I love you guys and I can’t wait for the world to see it.” Ananya Panday captioned the image on Instagram.

Many people on the social media platform didn’t seem to be impressed by the director’s kind gesture towards the actor, as some went on to express their displeasure with the filmmaker referring to himself as the actor’s “fan.” Several individuals commented on the post with disparaging remarks. “Definitely Diplomatic Post, can’t be true!” one user said.

After witnessing the negative remarks on the page, many people also left supportive comments for the actor. One person posted, “Stay strong and keep moving forward. There are people out there who are inspired by you how to hold your head high despite the endless negativity. I love that you are honest, hard working and never giving up! Can’t wait to see this!”

Ananya last appeared with Vijay Deverakonda in the critically panned Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Liger. Her forthcoming movies are Dream Girl 2 and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
