The original combo of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will return for Hera Pheri 3 at last! In the third episode of Hera Pheri, one of the most popular Bollywood franchises, they will all return as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao.

While having previously stated that he would not be returning to Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar would return as Raju in the film after producer Firoz Nadiadwala reopened communication with him.

It now appears that everything worked out, as the trio is back for Hera Pheri 3 and started filming yesterday in Mumbai. Now that a photo of the cast from the Hera Pheri 3 shoot is getting viral, fans can’t control their excitement!

Paresh Rawal is pictured in the Hera Pheri 3 photo standing between Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. He is pictured wearing a white kurta and dhoti to mimic the Baburao look. Akshay is meantime spotted wearing his recognisable white and red patterned shirt with bright red leggings.

Fans were obviously ecstatic to see the original trio back together! One Twitter user stated, “OG trio is back again,” in response to the image of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, while another wrote, “This blockbuster franchise is ICONIC RAJU, SHYAM, BABU RAO.” Finally was another fan’s comment, while “Powerful Trio” was another.

The original Hera Pheri group will continue the cult franchise, according to a source close to the project who spoke. The source also said that numerous talks over the script have taken place over the past few months.

“The team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will do complete justice to all the hype and anticipation around part 3 of Hera Pheri. Right from producer, Firoz Nadiadwala to the actors – Akshay, Paresh, and Suniel are all excited with positivity to return on the set as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao,”  according to the source.
