Kartik Aaryan reacts to Kangana Ranaut’s recent tweet
Kartik Aaryan was questioned about Kangana Ranaut’s tweet criticizing him on Sunday at an awards ceremony. Kangana recently lauded the actor for choosing his own route in Bollywood and eschewing joining a part of any camp’. Kartik has now responded to Kangana’s comments that he is “cool” and “self-made.” He declared himself to be ‘a fan of her work’.
On the recent red carpet in Mumbai, Kartik Aaryan remarked, “I am thankful to her for appreciating me, and I have been a fan of her work. So it is a huge compliment when it comes from someone like her. So, thank you so much.” Earlier this month, during a Twitter “Ask Kangana” session, the actor was questioned on what Kartik most impressed her with. The following day, Kangana tweeted, “Kartik is self-made and follows his own path, he is not a part of any camp or group, he is cool.”
As the Dhaakad trailer debuted the previous year, Kangana expressed her pride and affection for Kartik. In response to Kangana’s remark, the star had stated in a 2022 interview with India.com, “I am really happy unhone aise kiya (she did that). I watched that bit from her press conference, where she said so. It feels good to know when appreciation comes from an actor like her who’s so good at her craft.”
After Karan Johar’s Dharma Studios stated that Dostana 2 would be recast in April 2021, Kangana took to Twitter to express her support for Kartik, who apparently had already started filming for a few scenes of the movie before leaving.

Kangana just wrapped up the filming of her upcoming movie, Emergency. She is not only the project’s star but also the drama’s director. She will portray Indira Gandhi, India’s first female prime minister. This year will see the release of the next movie, which also stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, and Milind Soman. Kangana is now in production on Chandramukhi 2, a Tamil movie.
Kartik last appeared with Kriti Sanon in the movie Shehzada. Rohit Dhawan is the director of the movie, which debuted on February 17 and is a remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). After receiving his “first” best actor prize for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at the Zee Cine Awards on Monday, Kartik shared a post on Instagram.
