The actress Sara Ali Khan posted a photo of herself with famous actress Sharmila Tagore, her grandmother. On Sunday, Sara shared a picture of the pair grinning and posing for the camera on Instagram. They appeared to be outside a theatre.

Sharmila Tagore appeared in the photo dressed in a blue saree and blouse. She also had a shawl with her. Sara sported a white shawl and a blue and white outfit. Sara captioned the post after sharing the image,”Mere sapno ki Rani (The queen of my dreams) (crown emoji). Is my most stunning Granny (family emoji).”

Mere Sapno Ki Rani is a song sung by Kishore Kumar from the film Aradhana (1969). Directed by Shakti Samanta, the romantic drama film featured Sharmila Tagore and Rajesh Khanna in the lead roles.

One of the comments on the post read, “Sharmila Tagore looking so beautiful.”  Your grandmother is so elegant, said someone else.  “Your grand maa is sooo classy.” “Wowwww wowwww. Sharmila’s next appearance for fans will be in the family drama Gulmohar, which will mark her return to the big screen following 2010’s Break Ke Baad. Together with Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Simran Rishi Bagga, and Kaveri Seth, Gulmohar is directed by Rahul V. Chittella. In collaboration with Chalkboard Entertainment and Autonomous Works, Star Studios produces it. On March 3, it will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Sara‘s most recent appearance was in Aanand L. Rai’s 2021 film Atrangi Re. The movie, which also features Akshay Kumar and Dhanush, was made by T-Series Films, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. Sara will next be seen with Vicky Kaushal in the untitled romantic drama film by director Laxman Utekar.

Together with Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh, she also has Gaslight. In producer Karan Johar’s upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara will also appear as a courageous freedom fighter in a story set against the backdrop of the 1942 Quit India Movement.

In addition, she will be seen with Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkana Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s upcoming anthology movie Metro In Dino.
