Swara Bhasker shares pictures with Fahad Ahmad from haldi ceremony

After filing for marriage registration last month, Swara Bhasker has begun the wedding festivities. Fahad Ahmad, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, and the actor are in Delhi for their wedding festivities.

She uploaded joyous photos from her Haldi ceremony to Instagram on Sunday. Since the celebrations started soon after Holi, it appears that they played with colours in addition to haldi (turmeric).

Swara posted some unposed photos of herself and Fahad Ahmad at the haldi ceremony to Instagram with the caption, “Here’s to celebrating all the colours of life together. #SwaadAnusaar.” In contrast to Fahad, she is wearing a kurta salwar. One of the photos shows them both hugging one other.

Swara shared an image of the location of the haldi ceremony on her Instagram Stories today. Yellow marigold flowers were used to decorate the area. Swara used the amusing hashtag “#swaadanusaar” along with the description, “And so it begins..(yellow heart and flower emoticons), Loving the decor @foreignweddingplanners.in”

Swara also shared some additional images from the days leading up to her big day, in which she is seen getting ready for her sangeet ceremony with her girlfriends and engaging in dancing and singing to dhol sounds. Swara also posted videos of her mother shaking hands with a visitor. Another video shows her mother watching dhol players play inside the home while keeping her hands over her ears.

The wedding festivities for Swara and Fahad will start with a mehendi ceremony, a sundowner, and a sangeet ceremony. There will be a qawwali session and an afternoon devoted to Carnatic music. On March 16, the pair will host a wedding reception in Delhi.

Last month, Swara Bhasker disclosed that she had legally wed politician Fahad Ahmad. Swara shared the news on social media and included Ahmad, the state head of the Samajwadi Party’s youth wing, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, in the post. “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!”  She added a caption on a video with her hubby. Swara and Fahad met at a demonstration.

Swara‘s upcoming film appearance will be in Mrs. Falani. She last appeared with Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania in the movie Jahaan Chaar Yaar.
