Jeannie Mai Shares First Look of Baby Girl With Jeezy

Jeannie gave fans a first glimpse at her and Jeezy’s baby girl, Monaco Mai Jenkins, five months after introducing her first child into the world.

“You’re going to meet somebody very, very wonderful in my life—somebody new, somebody sparkly, somebody who smells like five-months-old excellent,” Jeannie teased in a YouTube video posted on June 2.

The film then transitioned to a montage of images and videos from the baby’s first months on the planet. Monaco’s giggling, her first Lunar New Year, quality time with both of her grandparents, and a charming visit with her mom’s The Real co-hosts were all featured in the beautiful slideshow.

Monaco’s YouTube debut was only the beginning. Jeannie then took her baby girl on camera for a family sit-down with Olivia TuTram Mai, crying as she admitted that she “gets so frightened” when showing Monaco to strangers.

“It’s such a strange combo of being ecstatic about something but also recognising that the world can be a cruel place at times,” Jeannie noted. “I can defend myself, I can block y’all, I can ignore the remarks, but you can’t do that with a baby, so that’s why getting to this position to share Monaco was so difficult for me.”

“Please excuse the jitters because that’s been the entire last five months,” she later added, “but I promise I’m ready.”
