Due to the COVID epidemic, DCC cancelled its in-person conventions between July 2020 and July 2021. Marvel did not participate in the virtual Comic-Con@Home events that took the place of the July 2020 and 2021 conventions, despite a scaled-down Comic-Con taking place at the San Diego Convention Center over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2021.
The Marvel films that could be teased during the convention include “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in November, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in 2019, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and “The Marvels,” as well as unreleased films like Mahershala Ali’s “Blade.” “I Am Groot” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” both premiering in August, as well as “Echo,” “Secret Invasion,” “Ironheart,” “Armor Wars,” and “Agatha: House of Harkness,” are among the Disney+ shows that might attract attention.
