
Pregnant Lauren Bushnell Lane Remains Optimistic Despite a New Medical Diagnosis

Lauren Bushnell Lane updated fans on her pregnancy together on June 7 Instagram Story as she expects to welcome baby No. 2 with husband Chris Lane, as per People.
“The first 13 weeks or so [of pregnancy] were a lot worse this time,” she said. “I just felt a lot sicker, and I threw up a lot more frequently, which is why I went to the hospital. Thankfully, I am feeling much better now.”

Lauren classified marginal cord insertion as “the umbilical cord attaching to the edge of the placenta rather than the middle.”
“So the concern is that when [the umbilical cord] attaches to the edge, especially later in pregnancy, it can sometimes cause the baby not to get all the nutrients it needs, so it just needs extra monitoring,” she continued.

While the medical discovery requires her to be “monitored more frequently, the Bachelor alum assured fans that her unborn child is “very healthy, measuring great, measuring a little bit big if anything.
Lauren and Chris, who married in 2019, announced two days ago that they are expecting their second child after welcoming son Dutton Walker in June 2021.
