Roddy Ricch, has been arrested before his performance at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival

• Rapper Roddy Ricch was arrested on multiple gun charges on June 11.
• Hours before he was scheduled to perform at the popular New York music festival Governor’s Ball.
• possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device and unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device.

Just hours before he was set to play at the famed music festival Governor’s Ball in New York City, the rapper, actual name Rodrick Moore, was arrested and charged with various firearm charges.

A New York Police Department official informed E! News that the 23-year-old was arrested with two other people at Citi Field at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday after police responded to a call regarding a firearm inside a car.

Rich and the other two males were charged with unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device, criminal possession of a weapon, and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

“Unfortunately, Roddy Ricch is no longer performing today,” they said.

In addition to Ricch, the three-day music festival’s Saturday programme included Halsey, Flume, Tove Lo, Joji, and other well-known musicians.

Kid Cudi, Jack Harlow, and Skepta were among the other artists who played during the weekend.
