Because 21st Century Fox, not Marvel, owned the film rights to Deadpool, a Marvel Comics character, there were no MCU characters or cameos in the first two Deadpool movies. Something like that. We have a treasure trove of things to poke fun at now… and Deadpool’s an equal [opportunist] so everyone’s fair game.”
