Brad Pitt on his role as a philosophical assassin in ‘Bullet Train’
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt said that playing Ladybug, a chump of an assassin in the upcoming action movie “Bullet Train,” was the “most entertaining” part of his career.
Pitt, who won an Oscar for best actor, stars in the picture directed by David Leitch, who also worked as Pitt’s stunt double in other films like “Fight Club” and “Troy.”
At the height of the coronavirus outbreak, according to Pitt, “Bullet Train” was like a breath of fresh air.
“When this script came along, it was like five-six months into the pandemic. There was this air of depression, we were all getting a little crazy and this film was a really funny piece.
“Also concurrently, it was with an old friend of mine David Leitch. We had an actor-stuntman relationship. He was my stunt double for ‘Fight Club’, ‘Mexican’, ‘Troy’ and ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’. So it was really to come back around full circle. But this time Leitch my man was the boss,” Pitt said during a virtual global press conference of the film.
Along with him were producer Kelly McCormick, co-stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, and director David Leitch.
