Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi celebrate 14th marriage anniversary

The marriage of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi is now 14 years old!

To mark the long-term couple’s latest big step in their relationship, DeGeneres posted a video on Instagram with a bunch of sweet memories from their time together. DeGeneres, who is 64, joked about the difference in their heights, and de Rossi, who is 49, chose a candy that best described how they feel about each other.

The former daytime host also put a quote from de Rossi’s wedding day in the caption: “It’s nice to be cared for. It has to be understood to be deep.”

“I love you, @portiaderossi,” DeGeneres continued. “Happy 14! ❤”

After same-sex marriage became legal in California in August 2008, DeGeneres and de Rossi got married. Last year, the actor from Finding Dory and the actor from Arrested Development talked about how their relationship works.

In 2021 Love Issue, de Rossi said, “We’ve grown as a couple, and we really care about each other and put our relationship first.” “When you do that, you get a lot stronger. I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather spend time with than her.
