A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to news that a missing person’s complaint was made for the rapper on December 27. The last recorded communication with London “stretches back to July 2022 in Los Angeles,” according to a statement from London’s family to Variety, who noted that they had traveled to Los Angeles to release the report.

“Over the last few weeks, friends and family of Theophilus London have been working together to piece together his whereabouts,” the family said in a Dec. 28 statement. “They are now seeking the public’s help with any information as to London’s whereabouts.”

In the statement, London’s father, Lary Moses London, included a message for his son.

“Theo, your Dad loves you, son,” he wrote. “We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come to get you son.”

According to a 2011 interview with Newsweek, London was born in Trinidad and Tobago and later relocated to Brooklyn in New York City. His most recent action on social media was an Instagram post from July 11 and an Instagram Story highlight that was updated 21 weeks ago. The Young Francos song “Get Your Money,” released in September, features him. London has been releasing music since the early 2010s and has previously collaborated with artists such as Lil Yachty, Tame Impala, Kanye West, and more.

He is characterized as “35 years old, Black, 6’2″, 175 pounds, with dark brown eyes” in his family’s statement.

The statement added, “If you have any information regarding his whereabouts or well-being, please reach out to his cousin Mikhail Noel at his instagram account @iamdjkellz, or the LAPD.”
