Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma Are Held Hostage by Their Kid

• This holiday season, Hilary Duff is making changes.
• The 35-year-old actress posted a picture of the holiday card.
• she sent this year on Instagram on Wednesday.

Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma are depicted as being taped up with Christmas lights around their mouths while their children laugh and eat cupcakes.

Along with their older daughter Banks Violet, 4, and Duff’s son Luca Cruz, 10, from her prior union, the How I Met Your Father actress and her husband, singer-songwriter Matthew Koma, both 33, welcomed daughter Mae James in 2021.

The bottom right corner of the card is emblazoned with “Happy Holidays” and “All Is Not Calm.” It reads “A Duff Some Bairs and a Comrie” on the return envelope. Duff gave photographer Laura Moll credit for the adorable image.

The singer-turned-actress annotated the image with “Happy Holidays.”

The family had a big day on Wednesday as Koma, 35, and Duff marked their third wedding anniversary with an Instagram post.

The singer and producer posted several images from his wedding to Duff along with a lengthy commentary on the ups and downs of marriage and children, interspersed with a few one-liners.

He went on, “I appreciate your love, ba. I am aware that is not always simple. Thank you for pretending to understand what I mean when I yell “Clarance” this time of year while listening to every rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s Santa Clause Is Coming to Town.”

Koma then thanked Duff for allowing him to “keep 6 beverages” on his nightstand and traveling to “foreign countries” to see the band Dawes play in concert before referencing their kids: daughters Mae James, 20 months, and Banks Violet, 3, as well as son Luca Cruz, 10, with Duff’s ex-husband Mike Comrie.
