Lindsie Chrisley won’t see her parents
Lindsie Chrisley will soon be reunited with her parents. Lindsie exclusively tells the news that she hasn’t seen her parents since their fraud case sentencing, but that will soon change.
Lindsie, 33, responds, “I have not. I had my son over the holiday break, and since the sentencing took place a few days before Thanksgiving and feelings were running high, I was forced to choose my son as a mother over a daughter and stay at home for the holiday.
In order to be with her parents, Lindsie claims that her “initial plans were to travel to Nashville.” She had to change her original vision though.
“But trying to honor the faith and allow them to be able to process exactly what transpired in court, I wanted to give them that space and respect,” she says. “I do plan to spend the Christmas holiday with my parents.”
Till they can reunite in person, Lindsie claims she has been “spending time with my parents over the phone.”
Julie, 49, and Todd, 53, were formally sentenced in November after being found guilty in June. Todd received a sentence of 12 years in jail and 16 months of probation, while Julie was given a sentence of 7 years in prison and 16 months of probation.
The long-standing pair was recently instructed to report to the Florida prison on January 17. Although Todd and Julie have already filed an appeal, they must stay behind bars during the entire procedure.
Family is the main priority under these circumstances, according to Lindsie.
“Right now, family is all that we are jointly concentrating on. We won’t stray too far from that, “She clarifies. “Family is the main focus.”
