T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been avoiding each other as ABC chooses whether or not they will return to anchor “GMA3.”

An insider reportedly told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that “they wouldn’t dare be caught together now, not while contemplating a decision.”

“Their marriages are over, but they have children to think about and they don’t want to jeopardize their futures with the network any more than they already have.”

After news president Kim Godwin wrote team members to indicate they will keep a “rotation of anchors” while they make their decision, the news was previously verified that the co-anchors will remain off “GMA3” indefinitely.

-“It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism,” she wrote in the email obtained by news.

Just a few hours prior reported that “every anchor is furious that Amy and T.J. have produced such controversy.” The announcement followed that report.

“No one wants to be associated with this,” one insider bluntly put it.

After their covert affair was revealed last month, news initially kept Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, on the air, but that changed after they laughed about their “wonderful week.”

“If it has been decided not to be addressed, then don’t be addressed! On broadcast, T.J. made fun of it. How else is Amy expected to respond? Amy’s smarter than that, but how else?” one source revealed.

According to a source, Robach and Holmes, who are both still married to other people, started dating when they were preparing for the March New York City Half Marathon.

According to reports, they put off leaving their partners until August.
