T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach presented a united and joyful front. In their first public appearance since being fired from “Good Morning America 3” for having an affair.

The co-anchors appeared happy and loyal to one another as they walked arm in arm through the rainy streets of New York City on Thursday, despite the fact that their professional futures are in jeopardy as ABC investigates the nature of their relationship.

The two were spotted in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail grinning and laughing as they walked down the sidewalk after what appeared to be a lunch date at the Capitol Grille.

At the restaurant’s bar, Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, ate steak, a salad, and wine. They had been seated near to one another and talked during the meal.

The two walked back toward Holmes’ apartment in the Financial District after lunch.

Holmes chose black sneakers and a black scarf for the visit, while Robach finished off her ensemble with brown boots and a white sweatshirt. The broadcasters matched in blue jeans and neutral-colored peacoats for the outing.

The two “wouldn’t dare be caught together… while ABC is making a choice,” an insider claimed to the Mail on Tuesday.

“Their marriages are over, but they have children to think about, and they don’t want to jeopardize their futures with the network any more than they already have,” the informant said.

The next day, a source told the press that the coworkers were “still very much together.”

More information regarding Holmes’ alleged relationships with at least two other employees at the company, including married producer Natasha Singh, has emerged during the investigation into the relationship between Holmes and Robach.

After starting to train together for the NYC Half Marathon in March, when they were both still married to other people, Holmes and Robach’s friendship apparently developed into a love relationship.

However, a friend informed us that Robach and Andrew Shue’s divorce is almost complete and that the “Melrose Place” star “moved out earlier this summer.”
