An updated image for the third Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania film has been made available by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new graphic emphasizes the presence of Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror, who is both the antagonist of Quantumania and Marvel’s newest badass antagonist.

The new artwork, which was unveiled for the most recent issue of Empire, perfectly encapsulates the nature of Kang The Conqueror as a bad guy who seeks to rule over everything and everyone in every world. Because he is at war with everyone, including every version of himself throughout the Multiverse, Kang The Conqueror introduces a new type of villain-hero conflict to the MCU.

MCU president Kevin Feige stated in the interview that Kang was the logical option for the Multiverse era of Marvel. Feige stated that Kang enables Marvel to explore a novel type of antagonist. He’s a distinct kind of villain, fighting both with our heroes and his own kind, according to Feige. Given that you are dealing with the Multiverse, he is a natural choice.

Majors noted that when discussing his part as the supervillain, director Peyton Reed brought up Alexander the Great as a point of comparison. Kang The Conqueror, according to the actor, “adds tonal diversity, real tension, and real friction,” guaranteeing a distinct vibration in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is a conflict between “your way of life” and “my way of existence,” not merely between man against man or between hero and villain.

Kang The recently released teaser has given fans a peek at MODOK, also known as the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, who will haunt the future Ant-Man film as well as The Conqueror. Comic book aficionados particularly admire the MODOK design since the character has a huge head with teeny, tiny limbs that float on a throne.

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, William Jackson Harper, Katy O’Brien, and Bill Murray are among the cast members in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. After portraying Kang’s clone, He Who Remains, in Loki, Majors joins the cast. The fifth Avengers movie, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, is being written by Jeff Loveness, who is also directing Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This indicates that Majors will play Kang The Conqueror a lot more frequently in the near future.
