Kody Brown calls marriage to Meri a ‘Storm’ ‘Sisters Wives’

• Kody and Meri discussed the breakdown of their marriage in light of the recent revelation.

Kody brown and Meri Brown, 52, told anchor Sukanya Krishnan, “We have a lot of history and I love him. “He has made the decision not to love me, to desire no part in a relationship with me, and to this point, to think of himself as not being married to me. I believe that is why we are seated as we are.”

The former couple, according to Kody, 53, entered plural marriage at a “early age” and were forced to “create a family” without the resources to do so.

He said, “I married Meri and it was a rough relationship from the beginning.

Kody then started dating Janelle Brown, whom he referred to as his second wife “a benefit from diluting. It weakened the bond I had with Meri.”

He acknowledged, though, that his problems with Meri were made worse by plural marriage because “we [were] dragging more people into a mess.”

Moving Janelle into Meri’s house was a “strange as hell” experience, Kody continued.

He claimed, “I’m in a committed relationship with someone I don’t even get along with, and then I bring somebody else in, and now it’s triangulating.” “And then we bring Christine in, and even though the strain was ongoing, it seemed to quiet down because we started having kids and we seemed to have this more unified purpose.”

He went on, “After Meri and I had our honeymoon period, this began to happen either the next day, the following week, the following month, or whenever. We were engulfed in it.”

Kody’s first wife was named Meri. The couple wed in 1990, and their son Leon Brown was born in 1995. He eventually married Janelle and Christine and then welcomed Robyn Brown as his fourth and final wife (as of yet).

After more than 25 years, Christine, 49, and Kody announced in November 2021 that their spiritual union was over. Janelle, 53, recently disclosed that she and Kody had also broken up. Robyn, 44, whom he is still legally married to,
