Lisa Marie Presley had a number of famous boyfriends and girlfriends. The late Elvis Presley’s daughter had four marriages before she away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54. Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, issued a statement to the media saying, “It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the tragic news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.”

The “most passionate, strong, and the loving lady I have ever met,” continued Priscilla, referring to her daughter.

In 1988, Lisa Marie got married for the first time to musician Danny Keough. Over the course of their six-year union, the pair had two children together: Riley Keough and the late Benjamin Keough. After divorcing Danny, Lisa Marie married the late Michael Jackson for a short time in the 1990s and Oscar winner Nicolas Cage for three months in 2002. Michael Lockwood, with whom she had twins Harper and Finley Lockwood before their divorce in 2016, was her fourth and last husband.

When Lisa Marie was only 20 years old, she married Chicago-based musician Danny Keough on October 3, 1988, three years after they started dating. When the marriage was announced, her mother Priscilla told the media, “Lisa Marie has my complete support. I could not be happier for the two of them. Danny is a fantastic man.”

The newlyweds also had great news to share after their October wedding: they were expecting their first child together, who was due in the spring. On May 29, 1989, their daughter Danielle Riley Keough was born.

On October 21, 1992, Lisa Marie and Danny gave birth to Benjamin Storm Presley Keough, their second child, three years later.

However, in May 1994, Lisa Marie and Danny filed for divorce after five and a half years of marriage.

After their breakup, the former couple did continue to be cordial. They were “like brother and sister,” she told PEOPLE in 2005. Lisa Marie went on to say, “In the end, this is a fantastic message to convey to people: Even if you don’t live together, you don’t have to throw your junk on your kids. You can maintain your civility. At the time I had the kids with him, I was aware that Danny was a person I could relate to for the rest of my life. He would make an excellent father, I knew that.”

Benjamin, the son of Lisa Marie and Danny, committed suicide at the age of 27 in 2020.
