The actress describes the dissolution of her marriage to the Mötley Crüe drummer as “the hardest, lowest, most terrible period of [her] life” in an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, “Love, Pamela,” which People was able to obtain on Wednesday.

The former couple started dating in 1995, were married four days later, and welcomed sons Dylan, now 25, and Brandon, now 26.

In her book, which goes on sale on January 31, Anderson, 55, claims that her relationship with Lee, 60, was “the only time [she] was ever truly in love.”

In contrast, the couple’s happiness was “ruined” by a notorious sex tape that was made without their permission and released in 1995, as seen in the 2022 miniseries “Pam & Tommy” on Hulu.

After Lee was detained for marital violence in 1998 and imprisoned for six months, Anderson claims that her “hell began” at that point.

“I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night,” she recalls of the rock star repeatedly kicking her in the back while she held a then-7-month-old Dylan. “We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.”

The “Baywatch” alum shares that she and the singer still “check-in [on one other] every once in a while” and expresses her “everlasting gratitude” that Lee is the father of Brandon and Dylan.

Their third wife Anderson was Lee’s. Since 2019, he has been wed to social media influencer Brittany Furlan.

For her part, the former Playboy model has been married five times. Rick Salomon, a poker player, and Kid Rock are among her other ex-husbands.

According to Anderson, whose most recent divorce from bodyguard Dan Hayhurst occurred in 2022, being single has been “more romantic” than she failed in relationships.

“I don’t need someone to bring me roses,” she explained. “I’ve just planted a hundred rose bushes. I can get them any time I want.

“I’m sure it would be lovely if someone else was in my life and wanted the same thing, but I’ve just never met them. It’s usually about catering to them, and there has to be a balance.”
