Paris Hilton wears a version of her 21st birthday dress
Paris Hilton, 41, shocked audience members on December 31 at the second Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party when she appeared on stage with Miley Cyrus and Sia to perform her 2006 hit song “Stars Are Blind.”
The actress’s slinky attire, which was evocative of her now-iconic silver chainmail garment from her 21st birthday celebrations, completed the nostalgic performance.
The new version of the dress was chosen in a pink color, and to complete the ensemble, Hilton added a heavy matching choker, a half-up do, and a bejewelled microphone. That’s hot was the appropriate way for her to cap off her performance.
When Hilton turned 21 in London in 2002, she wore the very first sparkly party dress. Since then, several celebrities have recreated the glittery dress style, including Kendall Jenner for her own 21st birthday. It has even gained some notoriety in pop culture.
Hilton previously told about Jenner’s dress, “I was quite flattered, I thought she looked very gorgeous.” “Literally, it’s the nicest 21st birthday outfit anyone has ever had. I adore how all these trends that I wore in the past are currently making a comeback.”
In fact, before New Year’s Eve 2022, Hilton herself re-created the appearance for a performance at her Art Basel party at Miami’s WALL Lounge in December 2018.
Hilton released an updated version of “Stars Are Blind” on Friday, and she performed at Miley’s New Year’s Eve party the following night.
She sent a message on Instagram regarding “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version)” that read, “This song has always meant so much to me, it felt natural to close off 2022 with a revitalized version.”
Hilton suggested that she had even more “interesting things” planned for 2023, saying, “This is only the beginning!” after her New Year’s Eve performance.
After last night, she was still on a high as she captioned a carousel of photos from her plans for December 31 on Instagram. “2023, I already adore you! #StarsAreBlind #Sliving It felt so nice to be back on stage, and it was so motivating to be surrounded by so many talented artists who I look up to and feel lucky to call my friends.
