Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson and Sharelle Rosado are getting married! News can exclusively disclose that the 44-year-old retired NFL star and the 35-year-old Selling Tampa alum got engaged on Saturday night.

Rosado and Johnson have been referred to as “fiancé” in public for a while, but Johnson has never given Rosado a ring. He so made it official by proposing to his future wife in front of family and friends in Miami while getting down on one knee and giving her a stunning oval cut, 7 1/2 carat engagement ring.

The athlete and former Dancing with the Stars contestant invited his longtime girlfriend to what he claimed was an early birthday party after they welcomed a baby daughter, Serenity, in January 2022. Even though I’ve always known we were meant to be, she says, “Now that it’s official, it’s even more special than I could have ever imagined.”

The happy pair is already planning their future nuptials, and they have a location in mind.

“We are already talking about possibly getting married in the Bahamas and having the Valley Boys Junkanoo close us out,” Rosado details. “It’s a special spot for us, we celebrated our daughter’s first birthday in the Bahamas as a family over the holidays.”
