Stephen “tWitch” Boss has been buried. A larger celebration of life for the friends Stephen considers family will be organized in the future, a source close to his family informed news on Jan. 4.

The DJ for the Ellen DeGeneres Show committed suicide on December 13. In a touching tribute, his wife Allison Holker, who they share three children with—Weslie, 14; Maddox, 6; and Zaia, 3—mourned the tragic loss.

“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into,” Holker had said in a statement at the time. “He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans…To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt.”

She ended the letter by saying, “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,” to her nine-year-old spouse.

The ballerina has rightfully kept a quiet profile while she grieves. However, she posted a throwback selfie of her and Boss to Instagram on December 21. She wrote, “My ONE and ONLY.” “Oh, how much it hurts. We really do miss you.”

Everyone he touched has been affected by his loss. Boss “always brightened everything up,” as Justin Timberlake remarked, and Channing Tatum added, “I’ll see you again my friend.”

Ellen DeGeneres is concentrating on the joy he brought to so many people. She wrote on Instagram on December 15: “Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and joy I had with tWitch.” “He made my life so much more joyful. He undoubtedly made your heart happy, too. I’m going to tell him about some of my best times. You can also share yours if you’d like.”
