Yellowstone season 5 announces a summer release date
The show is taking a much lengthier vacation after taking a break...
Yellowstone creator is not giving the final word to Luke Grimes
The Yellowstone creator is not giving Luke Grimes any spoilers. The actor who plays Kayce Dutton visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 4 to give a preview of the series’ upcoming midseason finale, which will air on January 1. Grimes hasn’t actually received many responses from the creator, though, and he intends to keep it that way.
“I think some of the cast knows the end. Some have been told. Some haven’t,” he revealed. “I don’t think Taylor, who writes our show, wants me to know either.”
“It might affect the way you do something or play something. And it’s kind of fun to experience it this way anyway,” Grimes continued. “It’s sort of like life.”
Even though Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone from The Godfather has been connected to his character’s journey, Grimes observed that Kaycee’s destiny might not be predetermined.
“I think that’s what we’re all kind of waiting to see,” he told Fallon. “Can he step up and man up and do the things necessary to help the family keep the place or not?”
On the western drama, Grimes is joined by Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser, Gil Birmingham, Wes Bentley, and Kelly Reilly. Furthermore, Sheridan is also in charge of the Paramount+ spinoffs in 1883 and 1923.
The first four seasons of Yellowstone are currently available on Peacock. Later in 2023, the Paramount Network will begin airing the remaining episodes of season 5.
