“Shazam” poster for “Fury of the Gods” goes electric

The superhero calendar for 2023 has begun, and Shazam is the next stop on the comic book train! March brings Fury of the Gods. The Shazam Family will go up against the daughters of Atlas in the follow-up to the well-liked 2019 Shazam!, which was based on the DC Comics character of the same name and once again directed by David F. Sandberg and starred Zachary Levi. The recently revealed ScreenX poster now gives viewers further hints about the upcoming electrifying struggle for DC’s beloved family.

The malevolent daughters of Atlas, played by Kalypso, Helen Mirren’s Hespera, and Rachel Zegler’s Anthea, are encircled by Levi’s Shazam and Djimon Hounsou’s heroic Wizard on the poster, which was made public exclusively by Screen Rant. The remainder of the Shazam Family, including Grace, is listed below them. On top of the ruins of a battleground are Caroline Currey’s Mary, Meagan Good’s Darla, Ross Butler’s Eugene, D. J. Cotrona’s Pedro, and Adam Brody’s Freddy. The dramatic and foggy sunset and a few character-specific lightning strikes in the poster create the ideal backdrop for the ScreenX experience.

How does “Fury of the Gods” unfold?

 Following the events of the first Shazam! Movie, Fury of the Gods picks up. Billy’s foster family is adjusting to their new superhero realities as they help him. Up to the appearance of the daughters of Atlas, fictional characters developed specifically for the movie, everything appears to be going according to plan. They assert that their pious father is entitled to this power. As the demigod sisters repair the Wizard’s staff that Billy damaged in the first movie, this leads to conflict within the Shazam Family. As the sisters gradually regain their abilities, Shazam! Becoming the lone survivor to stop them and regain his family’s powers.

We don’t know much more than that about the movie yet, but the trailers have shown us a larger and better adventure that keeps the original movie’s core. It is what initially made us fall in love with Shazam’s crazy world. With the expansion of DC’s pantheon of gods and the joyous addition of dragons and unicorns, the action in Shazam! In especially looks incredible. As Kalypso and Hespera aim to spare no one, the stakes feel higher than ever. Anthea, who in the movie seeks to develop a close relationship with Freddy, might hold the secret to success.
