The “Scream VI” experience is heading to Santa Monica

Scream VI is the most eagerly anticipated horror movie of 2023. The first murderous exploits of Ghostface in New York City will begin in about two weeks. The location of the sixth edition in New York City has been a significant emphasis of the marketing campaign, which has shown the well-known slasher antagonist at Time Square, the subway, Central Park, and even scaring the NYC skyline. As of late, Paramount has unveiled “Scream VI: The Experience,” which allows visitors to experience Ghostface’s most recognisable artefacts while strolling through the seedy streets of New York.

The Shrine of Ghostface

The brand-new activity will be “a free 15-20-minute immersive tour through the city that never sleeps where you can get up close and personal with the new and renowned items from the iconic horror franchise.” You might even receive a call from Ghostface. At 1231 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, the event will take place. The best thing is that this event will be free; reservations have already been filled, but don’t worry, a standby line will be set up for walk-ins.

Although it’s a little odd that this exhibit isn’t in New York, it’s still a fun approach to raise horror lovers’ enthusiasm for Scream. Also, based on what it sounds like, this will probably be similar to the Ghostface Shrine that was seen in the Scream VI teasers. The latest Ghostface has proof of all the past murders. They have artefacts like Tatum’s bloody sweater from the first Scream, Mrs. Loomis’ outfit from Scream 2, and Sam’s (Melissa Barrera) bloody knife from Scream 2022, which she used to kill Richie. Even the old Ghostface robes from earlier movies are still on this new iteration of the notorious killer. These are the worst nightmare for a horror collector.

New Regulations for New York

This time around, the franchise’s worst locale appears to be New York, which is mirrored in the plot. The movie picks up shortly after Scream 2022’s events. Sam is in New York City with her younger sister Tara (Jenna Ortega), who is heading to college with Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy Meeks-Martin, two other survivors (Jasmin Savoy Brown). Ghostface makes a comeback at this point, bringing old wounds to the surface, especially for Sam who is still adjusting to the idea that Billy Loomis is her father. For the first time, Ghostface doesn’t give a damn about Sidney Prescott. While their ultimate goal is still unknown, this Ghostface is intent on finding every twisted method to profit on Sam and Tara’s sinister background.

When Will Scream VI Be Released in Theaters?

On March 10, 2023, Scream VI premieres in NYC and all major cinemas. Check out more information about Scream VI: The Experience while we wait for Ghostface’s bloody return. The exciting event will take place over two weekends, starting on February 25 from 2 PM to 9 PM and February 26 from 11 AM to 9 PM, and concluding on March 4 and 5 from 11 AM to 9 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
