“Alien” directed by Fede Lvarez has set the start date of filming
The next 'Alien' film has been given the working title Alien: Romulus....
Fede Alvarez’s Alien movie officially under production
Fede Alvarez’s Alien movie has officially started filming, and the master of the Evil Dead remake has found the rest of his potential Xenomorph victims. Aileen Wu, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Cailee Spaeny will join Cailee Spaeny in the ninth edition of the venerable sci-fi genre.
While production on Lvarez’s movie has been kept largely under wraps, now that filming has begun, things are likely to move much more quickly and in the public eye. However, there are few storyline specifics and only a very general explanation of the movie’s plot.
In the movie, which was formerly known as Alien: Romulus, a group of young humans are forced to battle the most terrifying creatures in the universe—possibly the Xenomorphs—on an alien planet. The focus seems to be on the less-experienced, younger survivors as they struggle to fend off the Xenomorphs and their cruel face huggers, marking a slight break from the more adult, militaristic settings of the previous movies.
