The opening of a brand-new Harry Potter studio tour, which will begin in Japan this summer, has been revealed by Warner Bros. On Friday, June 16, the public will be able to visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter, the second studio tour centered on the Boy Who Lived.

The tour will be the only Warner Bros. Studio Tour to open in Asia and will be the world’s largest indoor Harry Potter-themed attraction, taking tourists through the entire experience in about four hours. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – the Making of Harry Potter, which debuted in Watford in 2012 and is still incredibly popular with visitors more than ten years later, has been a tremendous success. The Tokyo version of the tour will feature exclusive sets, guaranteeing visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.

Before boarding the Hogwarts Express, guests can push a trolley through the barrier at Platform 934. They can also see the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and the Great Hall at Hogwarts. The largest Harry Potter store in the world, with 14 themed areas that are furnished with more than 7,000 custom-made and specially procured props, will also be located on the Studio Tour.

Visitors will find parts devoted to places like Honeydukes, the well-known candy shop, Ollivanders, and Flourish & Blotts, the book store, in the areas that were inspired by Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade shops, where the Wizarding World purchases its supplies. Visitors can also select from a variety of cafes and restaurants that will serve typical British fares like fish and chips, roast beef, English breakfast, and afternoon tea.

The kid wizard from J.K. Rowling’s books and his escapades are still relevant and well-liked among younger people. After the end of the hugely popular film adaptations based on the same-named novels, fans now have new opportunities to engage with the Wizarding World. Based on the sons of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, the stage production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premiered in London in 2016 before moving to Broadway in 2018.

Additionally, Universal has several theme parks based on the movies where visitors can visit Gringotts Bank, get their own wands from Ollivanders, and drink at The Leaky Cauldron. Meanwhile, the most recent Hogwarts Legacy video game has made over $850 million in its first month of sales after selling more than 12 million units worldwide.

Notwithstanding these accomplishments, Rowling’s reputation has been tainted in the eyes of many millions of people worldwide as a result of her transphobic remarks, which the stars of the movies based on her novels have openly condemned. The author has frequently reiterated her convictions and recently said, “Time will tell if I’ve got this wrong.
