“The Wrath of Becky” trailer shows detail about Lulu Wilson

In a brand-new teaser for the upcoming sequel, The Wrath of Becky, Becky once more emerges as the heroic figure who protects her family. The first movie, which was genuinely underestimated and merited more attention, was released three years ago. Lulu Wilson returns to play the title character in the sequel, and as this first-look teaser video demonstrates, she has changed since we last saw her. Becky has perfected her killer instincts which she unleashes on a new antagonist, a group known as Noble Men led by Seann William Scott (American Pie).

The Wrath of Becky will pick up two years after the events of the first film, which left Becky an orphan with no close family members, and has a plot identical to the original 2020 movie. In the new movie, Becky is seen to have been adopted by Elena, a kindred spirit, and working with her to rebuild her life after the horrific events of her past, which included her father’s death at the hands of an evil invader. A murderous group breaks into Becky and Elena’s home, upsetting their peaceful way of life.

The teaser doesn’t reveal much, but it does enough to hint at a spectacle that is even gorier than the first. While she gathers massive weaponry in anticipation of her revenge, Becky has become increasingly adept at handling firearms. Becky is looking everywhere, from automatic weapons to grenades and what appears to be a bomb. Her knife abilities are also shown in the trailer, as she can be seen honing a blade in the woods before throwing it cleanly at tree bark. Her enemy finds it difficult to believe that a “small girl” is responsible for the destruction following them due to how skillfully she executes her plan. Diego, Becky’s dog, is also back and ready to attack her when we see her.

Who Is in the Cast of “The Wrath of Becky”?

In this sequel, only Wilson is a recurring character. The Wrath of Becky will also include Scott, Denise Burse, Jill Larson, Courtney Gains, Michael Sirow, Aaron Dalla Villa, Matt Angel, and Kate Siegel in addition to the aforementioned actors. From a screenplay they both authored, Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote are directing the thriller. The Open House and Hypnotic, two Netflix thrillers, were directed by both of them. Wilson and Scott shared the role of executive producers for Quiver Distribution along with Berry Meyerowitz, Jeff Sackman, and Larry Greenberg in addition to acting in the movie. Yale Productions, BoulderLight Picture, and Post Film are the producers of the movie.

The Wrath of Becky will have its international premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in March of 2023. The likelihood that the movie will receive a broad release is high if it performs well at the festival. Prior to entering homes via VOD, the first movie had a constrained theatrical run.
