Meet WWF Goodwill Ambassador Sarmad Khoosat
With global warming and climate change bringing significant changes and influencing inanimate and animate life, NGOs and governments are cooperating for the environment and nature. Sarmad Khoosat, a Pakistani actor, director, and producer, has taken on the burden of representing Pakistan on the world stage and making a tiny but important change personally.
WWF Pakistan named Kamli’s director a Goodwill Ambassador. The 43-year-old director was excited to join one of the world’s most influential organizations.
In a WWF Pakistan video, the Dil Muhallay Ki Haveli actor says, “We all know what WWF does.”
The Mujhay Jeenay Do actor continued, “I’m here to urge everyone to work together to defend the world. We must care for our world since we live, thrive, and exist here.
We have a multidimensional connection with this world and its processes.
Personal or global actions that threaten our world should be discouraged. So I’m at WWF to make a change and encourage you to, too.”
Khoosat said, “I’m excited to join WWF as a Goodwill Ambassador, and I’ll keep reminding you and me to safeguard nature.”
Zindagi Tamasha, Kamli, Joylan, Noor ul Ain, Lamhay, Aakhri Station, and Pardes are among Khoosat’s recent works.
