Lexi LaPorte, 21, was driving home in Garrettsville, Ohio, last month when she lost control of her vehicle and slammed over a railing. The hit sent her soaring through the air and into a ravine 100 feet below.
On its descent down into the ravine, LaPorte’s automobile overturned many times. She found herself with her hand trapped between the door and the front driver’s side seat.
“It’s dark when I wake up. The only light I had was my vape light.
LaPorte sought around for a t-shirt in the backseat to wrap herself in after realizing she was bleeding severely.

LaPorte was able to kick through her windshield after struggling and realized that aid would not be coming for her.
LaPorte then managed to release her hand to save herself and get out of her automobile. She found herself gravely hurt, fatigued, and dehydrated.

The guy and another bystander assisted her in contacting her mother, and emergency services.
LaPorte was told she had a partially collapsed lung and a cut on her foot. Not only lost her big and second toes, but also fractured her leg, and scratches all over her body.
“A will to live,” Erin LaPorte, LaPorte’s mother, said. “What she went through is completely insane. I admire her bravery.
