
Firefighters are struggling to confront the major fire that happened in flats in Glasgow.
According to details, the firefighters are struggling to extinguish the ‘well-developed fire’ that had emerged in a three-storey building on the second floor.
The alarm was elevated at Lancefield Quay, Clyde’s northern edge at the evening.
Fortunately, no injuries are reported.
Twelve appliances were mobilized to the fire, according to sources.
According to details, firefighters have been tackling the blaze, smoke is still emerging from the flats even though flames were seen shooting from the roof.
All the residents were directed to settle at a local hotel. The residents are being supported at the hotel.
According to Glasgow city council, the main road located between Hydepark Street and Elliot Street near to this building has been barred for some time.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service had said, “Operations control mobilized 12 appliances to the city’s Lancefield Quay.”
One of the residents stated that she was sure that the building would have to be collapsed. She also said that her home where she lived for over 17 years, had been damaged completely.
