North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has come out in public for the first time in 20 days.

According to the North Korean news agency, Kim Jong-un cut the ribbon at the inauguration of a fertilizer factory.

People present at the opening “broke into thunderous cheers of hurrah” as the leader came on Friday.

Several senior North Korean officials, including Kim’s sister Kim Yo Jong, had accompanied the leader.

“burst into thunderous cheers of ‘hurrah!’ for the Supreme Leader who is commanding the all-people general march for accomplishing the great cause of prosperity”.

Mr. Kim had said that the factory’s production system satisfied him. He appreciated him for contributing to the development of the chemical industry and food production in the country.

State media reported that he has appeared for the first time since 12 April after news about his health condition was coming out.

The US President Donald Trump was asked about Kim Jong-un’s appearance. He had replied that he did not want to comment.

News about Kim’s health was circulating as he was not present at the birth anniversary celebrations of his grandfather, state founder Kim Il Sung on 15 April.

This event is said to be one of the biggest events in the country. He usually visits the mausoleum where his grandfather lies.
