India has pledged to defend its borders with the military if needed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed that no foreign soldiers are inside Indian borders and the country has not lost any territory.

PM Modi gave a televised address on Friday. He said that India’s forces had been “given a free hand to take all necessary steps” for the protection of the Indian Territory.

He said, “The entire country is hurt and angry at the steps taken by China,” “India wants peace and friendship, but upholding sovereignty is foremost.”

He added that Monday’s clashes “neither is anyone inside our territory nor is any of our post captured”.

“Our patrolling capacity has increased due to newly built infrastructure, especially along the LAC,”

Violence between Chinese and Indian troops cause casualties of 20 Indian soldiers on Monday.

However, China has not released any details about its casualties.

Both countries blame each other for crossing the disputed Himalayan border and starting a fight.

India claimed that both China and India suffered losses.

China releases Indian soldiers amid violent clash

China has released 10 Indian soldiers after a violent clash between India and China.

Indian media sources said that a lieutenant-colonel and three majors are among the soldiers released.

At least 20 Indian soldiers have died in the fight in the Galwan valley. Tensions between the two countries ultimately increased. Also, 76 Indian soldiers have injured. China has not reported any casualties.
