Turkey to suspend relations with United Arab Emirates

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he is considering suspending relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following the agreement reached between the two countries.

Talking to media, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the agreement with Israel has not been approved in any case and that is why they are considering closing their embassy in UAE and suspending diplomatic relations.

He said that his ambassador could also be recalled and necessary instructions have been given to the Foreign Minister in this regard.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan further said that we stand with the Palestinian people in any case and we will not allow them to be defeated.

Earlier, according to the International News Agency, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the peace agreement between the UAE and Israel is against the wishes of the Palestinian people.

A statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the UAE had betrayed the Palestinian cause for limited interests.

On the other hand, Iran has also condemned the peace agreement between Israel and the UAE, saying that the peace agreement is tantamount to deceiving the Palestinians.

Iran has called the UAE-Israel peace deal “dangerous” and said it would increase tensions in the region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the foolish states would be responsible for the consequences.
