Three arrested in Abu Dhabi for promoting 45kg drugs

Three Asians have been arrested by Abu Dhabi police for promoting drugs.

Police have confiscated more than 45 kg of heroin and crystal meth from their possession.

Abu Dhabi police broke the news on their official Facebook Page that the gang had smuggled the contraband from outside the country and was trying to sell in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

Brigadier-General Mohammad Suhail Al Rashdi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, said that with modern equipment and advanced training methods, the anti-narcotics department of the Abu Dhabi Police is always prepared to deal with the methods of drug smugglers.

Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector, emphasized police efforts to control crimes and protect the public from criminal activities.
